The Autobiography as Told by Vic Mensa
The Chicago rapper’s debut studio album was released on July 28, 2017 by ROC Nation and Capitol Records and it for damn sure didn’t hold any punches! No one was exempt from getting a full dose of truth with the very first track, “Didn’t I” being a direct message to his family and friends. Mensa even found time to talk about his own failures, fuck ups, and acknowledged the guilt that he lives with. He used the negatives he experienced and used them as instruments for growth which translated to “The Autobiography”.
